I’ve just recently begun to improve my internet skills and am now at the point of having two websites and a blog. I love to write, and I love to share my experiences with others, so starting a blog seemed the obvious thing to do. I’m 51 years old and have survived many of the “real life” trials and tribulations that everyone goes through: taking care of a family, holding down a full-time, stress-filled job, and taking care of a home. I have also lost both parents to cancer and have learned a little about dealing with grief and loss. I have ridden the depression rollercoaster, and I have found the help to get off that rollercoaster.
In addition to writing, I love classic movies, Texas music, reading, and traveling. I am now a full-time housewife with the time to pursue my own interests. It is nice to be at home, although sometimes I miss the company and conversation of others during the day. I am considering looking for a part time job soon, but I am a little hesitant to give up my freedom.
